If the personal shield actusally protected him from damage at the cost of energy then he might have a chance but as of now he seems to just get melted in any situation in the jungle.Old thread, but this is not a question of difficulty. are you talking about the mythos items you can get in the secret rooms? cause i must say as someone else pointed out, you can get enough of the items for the professor to help with such agressive and spammy enemies, not to mention that some of their attacks hurt your sanity too and the professor can't shoot fast enough or accurately enough to get the enemies in time. Its a way to show that all heroes are connected and can help each other. And when such items are enough - the player goes through a difficult place. How it worked in our heads when we came up with this: when a player is faced with an impenetrable situation for one of the heroes, he begins to play for the other hero, picking up and saving the objects he needs (for example, artifacts giving invulnerability) in a storage in a strange place.
